Nico Poblete is originally from San Diego, California and now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada where he started his journey in film. Nico always had an interests in shooting video by filming amateur videos for the web on a digital point-and-shoot camera. He then later decided to expand on a new style of filming, which was getting the “cinematic film look”. One of his inspirations in film is a cinematographer named Emmanuel Lubezki. The techniques of Lubezki’s work in camera movements and naturalism of lighting can be found in some of Nico’s latest projects. What he hopes to portray in his work is the connection with the audience, whether it is inspirational or emotional. Nico strive to get the most out of every story and bringing it to life.
